The project aims to develop weightlifting in Slovakia and youth sports in the region by showcasing elite young European weightlifters and promoting the Slovak Weightlifting Federation as a reliable partner for organizing major weightlifting events. It is a comprehensive project involving a competition held in the village of Bobrov—a location with an established weightlifting environment and existing infrastructure; on-site requirements are limited to competition management, specific weightlifting equipment, and the necessary audio-visual and computer hardware and software for the event. The established weightlifting club Olympia Bobrov operates in the village; the Slovak Weightlifting Federation has previously collaborated with the club to organize a smaller international competition involving the V4 countries. The event partners are the Polish Weightlifting Federation (https://www.pzpc.pl), the Czech Weightlifting Federation (www.vzpirani.cz), and the Hungarian Weightlifting Federation (www.sulyemelok.hu).
